'Caution'

Made as a last minute entry into the "Artlist x Artgrid Edit Challenge 2021", this short film competition tasked editors to make either a Trailer, Brand Ad or Music video, using only stock footage and music found on their respective stock footage sites.

Opting for the music video option, using different forms of dance as the central theme, motion graphics was used to enhance the visual aesthetic. It was an usual challenge to try to direct and craft a whole new narrative using only unrelated stock, with different original themes, and to end up with one cohesive final piece, that hopefully feels as though it was conceived, planned & shot to be that way.

Untitled.mov - A Halloween short film

Made during my time at G2 Films, we decided to have some fun one night and make a short film to celebrate Halloween, making fun of the dangers of working through the night, and an editor's true nightmare - deleting the wrong file.

Whilst not technically a Crew of Two production, I like to think of it in a similar vein, as there were only a few of us making this and with zero budget. Crew of Few perhaps!

Many thanks to G2 Films for letting us off the leash and making something like this.

Sunday in the Park with Guns

This short film was made as part of an entry into LaCie Action Scene Challenge competition, tasked with making a 1 minute action film, that had to include the line "I think this is yours"

Made by a crew of only 2, and performing all the roles - (acting, directing, cinematography and all the post-production work) - we managed to make this short from start to finish within 4 days, taking it in turns to film each other, and a tripod for the wides (with movement added in post).
